Whenever Quicksilver launches, it binds to BOTH Command-A and Command-Space as the hotkey for launching. In preferences, I've chosen "Command-Space" as the hotkey.
If I change the hotkey to Command-A, then change it back to Command-Space, then everything works fine. Command-A then does what I want it to do - select all.
