Try creating a safari bookmark for gmail and using the quicksilver safari 
plugin (which you're probably using already) to put that bookmark in the 
catalog (which it will probably automatically put itself in). You can refresh 
the catalog (⌘R in QS) to force this to happen quickly.

Then recreate your trigger using the gmail bookmark as found in the catalog.

I (still) have a similar problem as you 
(https://github.com/quicksilver/Quicksilver/issues/1553) with some web search 
triggers and now with some that use text from the shelf and the paste action. 
But I have the same gmail trigger as you setup as above and I never have a 
problem with that one.
