I'm new to quicksilver but I couldn't find a way or answer to my problem.

I'm the kind of person that like to search for stuff and want the whole directory to be at my disposal but I manage to get it all in there except for the
applicaitons "show package content" directories.

Is there a way to add it to the catalog? a plugin? preference setting?

If you create a custom “File & Folder Scanner” catalog entry (or copy one of the built-ins), there should be a check-box called “Descend in bundles”. I assume it does what you describe, though I’ve never tried it and don’t know how well it works.

I would generally discourage that though. To keep searching fast, you should minimize what’s in the top-level catalog. You can always access files deeper down by selecting a folder and hitting → or /. In the case of bundles, you can see their contents by hitting ⌥→ or ⌥/.

Because if I want to, lets say I want to find a picture real quick with quicksilver.. if it is in iphoto library I can't find it because its in the
"show package contents" directory within that application.

For that specific case, you should check out the iPhoto plug-in. If you select the iPhoto application in Quicksilver, then hit /, you should see a list of all albums and events. Selecting one and hitting / again will show the photos.
