It looks like what I suspected it might be in the first place. At least one of those threads is working on figuring out which items should be available in the third pane. This has to be done when the action is selected, even if you’re not going to use that action. So simply arrowing past it could introduce a delay.

The amount of delay depends on the action, your hardware, and what’s in your catalog. My guess is that you’re going past either “Move to…” or “Copy to…”, which will go through every file in your catalog and only list the folders. If you have a slowish machine and/or tons of files in your catalog, this delay is to be expected.

If you don’t think that explains the problem, let us know.
