I
would like it to behave like when selecting a track directly in
iTunes: by
continue to play the next song in the same album. Is this possible?
Yes, but not the way you describe.
### Short Answer ###
If you want to play the album, select the album in Quicksilver. (Not one
of the tracks.)
### Long Answer ###
When you play a single track, it just plays. The context in which it’s
playing is somewhat undefined (especially in iTunes 11), so it can’t
know what “next song” means. When you select a track in the iTunes
interface, you’re also selecting a context to play it in, which is why
it can keep going.
If you get to a track in Quicksilver by right-arrowing into a playlist,
it *should* play in the context of the playlist (and keep going when
that track finishes), but I never use that and won’t swear it still
works. So maybe that could do what you describe if the “Music”
playlist were part of the catalog and you browse into it, but it’s
not.
If you play *more* than one track, or one or more albums, artists, or
genres, the applicable tracks will be added to a playlist and all of
them will play. So like I said, just select and play the album.
