not sure if i'm stupid or blind, but i can't seem to find a way to show the clipboard history on hitting the left edge of the screen, or setup a global trigger (say opt+cmd+L) to show the same thing..
it used to work in snow leopard / qs 1.0.0..

it works fine when i hit main qs tigger and then cmd+L but its a bit wierd and insufficient..

After showing the panel with ⌘L, drag it over so part of it is off the screen to the left. When you let go, it should hide on that edge, and reappear whenever you mouse over to it.

You could make a trigger for “Show Clipboard ⇥ Run” with ⌥⌘L, but most people I think prefer “Clipboard History ⇥ Show Contents” because it uses Quicksilver’s main interface and lets you search and select items from the history by typing.
