I often use a service called Delete

immediately service does not show up under the "Files and Folders"
action
type, or any other action type for that matter. I'm unable to edit the
service in Automator. I get 'The document “Delete
Immediately.service”
could not be opened. Automator cannot open files in the
“Application”
format' as an error message if I try to do so. Is there any
straightforward way for me to make "Delete immediately" available in
Quicksilver?
I don’t know the details of how Services make their way into
Quicksilver, or if a Service defined in that way is *supposed* to work,
but I can tell you it’s unnecessary in this case.
Just select the file(s) and use the built-in “Delete (Erase)”
action. I’m pretty sure that action is disabled by default, so you
might need to enable it once in the prefs first.
You could also create a trigger for “Finder Selection ⇥ Delete
(Erase)”. I’d recommend limiting the scope for that one to Finder
only.
