It’s a (partial) bug. I just did some testing and right-arrowing into
a contact works if the contact is in the first pane, but not if it’s
in the third.
Depending on your needs, a work-around is to use
Contact ⇥ E-mail Item… (Send Directly) ⇥ File(s)
instead of
File(s) ⇥ E-mail To… (Send Directly) ⇥ Contact
If you can, please create an issue for this.
