Right now, I think the best you can do is to enter some text (precede with 
"." to force its entry as text), then tab over and start typing "Spotlight" 
. You'll see "Spotlight in window" "Get spotlight results," "Show spotlight 
results in Finder".

None of them are as nice as actual spotlight results in the Apple way, IMO, 
which I think is what you're trying to get. I agree that would be nice, if 
only to avoid having to use two shortcuts.
