I have been noticing the following for a few weeks. If I create a new file 
which resides in one of my custom catalog folder entries, it does not show 
up on QS (my catalog refresh time is set at 10mins, I have tried waiting 
for hours). The only way that I have found to make the new file searchable, 
is to delete the caches and restart QS.

I am using the latest QS version and latest version of Yosemite. I think 
that this problem started with the last (maybe even earlier?) version of 
QS.
