It looks like you have the Recent Objects preset enabled, and the Google
Chrome item you’re using in the trigger is getting pulled from the
history instead of just using the “real” item. I’m not sure why,
but you could either
1. Make sure that item isn’t in Recent Objects before creating the
trigger.
2. Temporarily disable Recent Objects while creating the trigger.
The problem is that triggers only store the object’s identifier and
look that up in the catalog to get the other details. Recent Objects is
empty when you launch QS, so that identifier is meaningless. The *real*
“Open Web Pages” object should be in the catalog after a relaunch
and work fine in a trigger.
2. Every time i restart QS my window size settings are forgotten. I
like to
resize the results window underneath the 3 actions however everytime
QS
quits it resets to default size.
I’m less sure about this one. I know this has been a problem in the
past and mostly been fixed. Maybe it’s something that has to be done
for each interface and some have been overlooked. Which interface are
you using? You might try setting the size with another interface,
quitting QS to force it to save the size, then switch back to your
interface to see if it sticks.
