I use the chrome plugin for various search engines (via "Chrome Search Engines"), and every now and then I have to restart quicksilver because they disappear from quicksilver. I have finally found a pattern that may help track the issue down.
I can cause the Chrome Search Engines to disappear by using the calculate function (from the calculator plugin). The search engines disappear either after one or two calculations (including trying to calculate words instead of numbers, which gives the "calculation failed" notification). After this happens, it seems quicksilver can still see the normal chrome bookmarks, as evidenced by asking quicksilver to show the source of one of my bookmarks in the catalog. Restarting quicksilver resolves the issue. If it matters, I also have the Safari and Web Searches plugins running as well. Let me know if this is better to just go ahead and post in the issue tracker, and thanks. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Quicksilver" group.
