I wrapped a shell command in an applescript for convenience. do shell script "/usr/local/bin/wireshark -k -i en0 &>/dev/null &"
It runs fine from AppleScript Editor, but it hangs in QS (selected in first pane and action Run as AppleScript), ie, it opens Wireshark but doesn't start capturing and beachballs.
