Just a followup here.....  Safari grabs the RMB so that the event never 
gets to Abracadabara...  At this point, the subverts my whole effort to use 
RMB for mouse gestures.  Later on, I may try to hack something together 
with Karabiner <https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/osx-karabiner> .
