Yeah, it appears to be a bug with Gatekeeper when you build on the latest OS.

We should probably be using a 10.10 VM to build releases of QS, but I don’t have disk space for it.

For now, I’ve told the update system not to offer 1.4.x to systems with less than 10.11.4.

One thing that might be worth a try is going into the app’s bundle and just deleting `Quicksilver.app/Contents/_CodeSignature`. I think that will make it look like a regular application that was never signed, and that will hopefully make Gatekeeper ignore it. You’ll have to right-click it and choose Open to run it for the first time, like any other unsigned app.

(Do all this after copying it out of the read-only DMG, obviously.)
