I set "Triggers > Quicksilver > 'Select Current Selection in command
window'" to "shift-command-escape", but the original "command-escape"
trigger is still enabled.
Changing the trigger allows you to use another keystroke to grab the
current selection, but it won’t free up ⌘⎋ for other things if
that’s what you’re after.
The reason is that ⌘⎋ is bound to the “Get Current Selection”
service. The “Command Window with Selection” trigger is actually
just “pressing” ⌘⎋ itself to invoke that service. (That’s why
the name of the service warns you not to change its shortcut.)
So, you can go into your keyboard preferences and disable the service to
free up ⌘⎋ but I think you will lose the ability to grab the current
selection with a simple keystroke.
One alternative that might work (I haven’t tried) is a trigger that
runs
Current Selection ⇥ Select in Command Window
