If you ran an action or dismissed the interface in some other way, that would explain the missing abbreviation.
Note that there’s a bug in 1.5.0 that would clear the search string before it had a chance to update your mnemonics, which is why QS isn’t just learning your abbreviation automatically. A fix will be in the next release.
