Hi there, cannot find an answer to this.
When trying to search for a file that has two words in its name
(address
history.doc), quicksilver first searches on the word address, as I
type it,
but then, as soon as I press the space bar to begin typing the word
'history', quicksilver then starts searching on the word 'history'!
How can I get it to realise that the space bar is just part of the
first
search and not make it trigger a brand new one?
You could go to Preferences → General → Command and change the
Spacebar behavior from “Smart” to “Normal”, but please don’t.
😀
The whole point of using Quicksilver is that you don’t *need* to type
all that crap. If you’re looking for “address history.doc”, just
type “ahist” or even just “ah”. Quicksilver will quickly learn
which abbreviations refer to which things in your head.
You can find more detail in [the manual][selecting].
