A generic action that copies a file's content would be a nice addition to QS. If you only need to do this from time to time, selecting the file in the first pane, then quick looking at it (see spacebar behaviour in the preferences), next selecting all text and copying it (⌘A, ⌘C), works for me just fine (tested on rft file with special chars and pasting in TextEdit and Word).
