Do you have either the Safari History or Chrome History presets enabled? They’re a little too aggressive about keeping themselves up to date currently. Try disabling them if you can live without them. (Go to Preferences, Catalog, Plugins, expand each browser’s presets, and uncheck the respective history entry.)
