Now that you know, you should be able to add BetterTouchTool to the list of ignored applications under Quicksilver’s Preferences → General → Clipboard.

Thanks for the suggestion, however blacklisting BetterTouchTool does not
help.

When opening BTT (using QS) with iTerm as the active app:
"Unknown Clipboard Object: Unknown Type from iTerm2"

When opening on a blank Desktop:
"Unknown Clipboard Object: Unknown type from Finder"

After some testing, it doesn't matter how BTT is started (via open, Spotlight, etc.) a UCO will be generated for the active application.

I've just discovered that BTT comes with its own clipboard manager:
 https://docs.bettertouchtool.net/docs/clipboardmanager.html
which I've not activated.

QS clipboard input freezing happens randomly after a reboot - when both
apps are automatically started.

Quitting BTT and QS, restarting QS then BTT appears to allow QS clipboard
to function normally.
