Thanks for the info. I'm unfamiliar with the Stream Deck. How do you install 
the app in question? The homebrew package `elgato-stream-deck` looks promising?

I've had a report of Keyboard Maestro causing issues, but I didn't notice 
anything running it and QS side-by-side for a week or so.

I have been running Stream Deck and QS all morning with no apparent issues. I 
wonder if there is some minimal config I need to provoke issues?
