Title: Application Development Consultant Duration: 6 months Location: Dublin, OH, USA Must be a Citzen, GC or EAD The selected candidate will perform the following duties: - Responsible for designing, implementing, and providing support for applications, systems, and IT products - Support technology solutions for Enterprise HR/Payroll, Learning Management, Time Management, Aviation, and Corporate Security - Translate and interpret functional requirements documentation for medium projects - Develop solutions for the organization’s core application systems and support interfacing systems - Assist in system/application integrations - Perform design reviews - Perform application development utilizing in depth knowledge of structure, features and programming language - Make design recommendations with a basic understanding of the Reference Architecture and Application Transition Plan - Lead in establishing supporting technology architecture and environment recommendations for new business solutions - Research and investigate the application of Enterprise Architecture (EA) technology standards to satisfy business requirements - Validate alignment of solution development / implementation approaches with EA standards and general best practices - Assist business in defining and documenting data security / protection requirements based on industry standards and best practices - Engage appropriate Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) teams and partners to implement technology elements of business solutions - Apply knowledge of data management / conversion best practices to lead technical data aspects of solution development - Develop well-reasoned assessments to support technology solution recommendations - Communicate technology issues in business-friendly language to gain support for recommendations - Demonstrate acumen for researching, comprehending, and applying knowledge concerning new technology standards/protocols - Actively participate in solution deployment planning, coordination, and execution - Support the transition of completed projects from the “Build” team to the “Run” team, providing adequate knowledge transfer to drive smooth post-implementation support - Support and monitor HR related data and interfaces both internal to Client’s applications and outside vendors - Support data confidentiality of HR information and new HR initiatives - Manage and bridge relationships between HR and EIT including coordinating activities and solutions between the groups - Collaborate with clients to anticipate their needs and business and technical challenges - Display Client’s EPPIC core values in all interactions and dealings with others - Translate functional requirements into technical requirements and design - Meet with clients to identify reporting needs and work with project team to arrive at a reporting solution - Provide timely status and escalate to PM/solution owner when issues arise - Provide Business Objects training Required Skills and Experience: - In depth knowledge of technology standards, procedures and methods - Experience with multiple development methodologies - Possess excellent oral and written communications and interpersonal skills - Demonstrated organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills - Good training and presentation skills - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, MIS, CIS or equivalent work related experience required - 5 years in IT roles related to application development, security, systems integration, and/or data conversion - Advanced experience with systems integration (ETL) tools, architectures, and best practices - Intermediate experience with database structures, tools, and administration capabilities - Intermediate experience with Web Application Development & Portal technologies - Experience supporting HR/Payroll business systems and technology systems - Apply in-depth skills and broad knowledge of the business to address complex problems and non-standard situations - Draw on best practices and comprehensive technical knowledge to advise clients - Track internal trends and suggest process improvements based on observations - Question current methods while evaluating broad implications to develop practical improvements - Understand the Client’s business priorities and how EIT priorities and processes support them - Interpret internal/external business issues and recommend best practices - Possess functional and technical knowledge and skills to consistently perform at a high level of competency - Collaborate effectively within own team and across segments, functions and organizations to achieve team goals Thanks Gopinath Rajendran (Gopi) EDI MATRIX LLC Phone: 614-408-8117 Fax: 614-675-2786 [email protected] www.edi-matrix.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "BlazeAdvisorUserGroup" group.
