Title: .Net Developer Client: Public Sector Duration: 3 Month ( potentially Longer) Location: Columbus, OH Rate: DOE Interview: Phone Interview Short Description: The Programmer is responsible for analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team. Complete Description: The candidate will be asked to make enhancements to the existing Oil & Gas Web site (developed in .NET). The project will include the integration of a Web search application for well documents with a GIS component. Candidate will work with the GIS group to plan and design the integration. Other enhancements will include navigation and graphic design. The candidate will work with subject matter experts and a Business Analysts to complete the desired enhancements. Ohio Department of Natural Resources will provide the development environment and all of the tools necessary to complete the enhancements. Primary technologies include Microsoft .NET, DotNetNuke content management, JQuery, and Java Scripting. The Programmer is responsible for analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team. Programmers typically are involved in maintenance (including production support), enhancement and development work. Programmers have a range of skills and knowledge of the technologies used and applications supported by the Application Team. The Programmer works with the Functional Architect and Technical Architecture Specialist on an as needed basis to ensure that design and code meets customer requirements. · Plan all required process steps. · Review and understand the Application Team’s workplan. · Provide status of work to Team Lead. · Anticipate, identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting own work and work of the Application Team. Develop contingency plans as necessary. · Engage in ongoing process improvement. · Detailed functional and process knowledge. · Utilize deep modeling, design and coding skills. · Provide expertise in one or more database environments. Required Skills/Years: Candidate must be senior programmer with no less than 5 years overall experience Candidate must have experience designing Microsoft .Net applications: Candidate must have experience designing Java Scripts Candidate must have experience working with JQuery Candidate must have configuration experience in IIS 7 DotNetNuke content management Nice to have: Experience designing Web Mobile Device Programming Thanks & Regards Gopinath.
