I was trying to get in touch with you in regards to the following job description. *Job Title:* WTX Developer** *Location:* Oak Brook, IL 60523 *Duration:* 2+ Months Contract *Client: ACS (Affiliated Computer Services)* * * *Description:* A senior Integration Specialist who can architect, design, develop, maintain and support new and existing business critical data movement & transformation applications using IBM WTX. Job Responsibilities: Develop applications in accordance to SDL methodology, industry best practices and standards. Apply best practices during analysis, architecture, and development of WTX solutions. Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into technical design specifications. Develop WTX solutions to integrate IBM MQ, Web Services, Oracle, DB2 and Microsoft SQL Server, and other solutions Well versed with WTX map designer, type tree maker, type designer, database interface designer, integration flow designer, management console and event viewer. WTX Launcher / Event Server maintenance and configuration Production Migration planning and documentation Prepare documentation related to configuration and administration of WTX solutions. Create technical documentation such as but not limited to workflows, data flows, data maps, and architecture related to the development of WTX solutions Define and document WTX development standards, deployment strategy, and operational procedures / run books. Interact with other technical teams and business analysts to ensure effective integration with existing systems Mentors and coaches other WTX administrators/developers with less experience Design the integration configuration and customization to meet the business process design and application requirements Participate in quality management reviews ensuring the application design and related work products satisfy the requirements Create and execute functional integration test plans Provide proven communication, analytical, and problem solving skills to help support the development process, and to ensure that the project deliverables are met according to specification. Other duties as assigned *Requirements:* Bachelors degree in management information systems, computer science or equivalent experience preferred 5+ years hands on experience developing integration solutions using IBM WTX aka Ascential DataStage TX aka Mercator. 3+ years hands on experience with the configuration and ongoing administration of MS SQL Server 2005/2008, Oracle & DB2. Experience with MSMQ & IBM MQ is must. WTX certifications are a plus Experience with BizTalk is a plus.
