The position will reside in Allstate’s Technology Organization on the Integration Production Support Team. This team is part of the Production Support Team for Agency Facing applications. The candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day support of roughly 200 TIBCO applications. Accountability includes ensuring that systems are available, driving improvements to change execution success ratios, improving early detection of issues through automation, and supporting life cycle management. Production support services: • Root cause analysis and preventative steps for reported defects. • Resolve/develop work around for the reported problem. • Report problems related to interfacing upstream/downstream systems to the corresponding support teams. • Resolve problems reported by interfacing downstream systems support teams that are related to TIBCO integration interfaces in scope. • Manage, track & report on production defects. • Respond to enterprise outages by representing TIBCO production support on Enterprise Command Center (ECC) calls as necessary. • Provide preventative maintenance where required by defect analysis, or, by requirement of Allstate standard. • Perform Health Checks for TIBCO components. • Resolve service requests within the defined SLAs for TIBCO users. • Plan maintenance and coordination’s (Unix/Linux). • Implement permanent fixes to the application. • Assess, monitor and enhance application performance. • Resolve problems reported by interfacing downstream systems support teams that are related to TIBCO integration interfaces in scope. • Support lifecycle management activities. • Provide off hours on-call support on a rotational basis.
