In BLFS6.1 and BLFS-SVN-20051018:
during init, during starting NTP the following message is displayed:
Unable to continue: /usr/sbin/ntpd is running [WARN]
Time appears to be synchronized, then the ntpd daemon stops. This could affect kerberos authentications where the RTC is not perfectly synchronized.
