Some combination of Glib 2.10.1, Qt 3.3.6, KDE 3.5.2 has caused some of
the audio apps like kscd, noatun, juk, artsbuilder to crash on startup
with a Memory Error - GSlice. That is all I know at this point. GSlice
is a new thing in Glib. Hopefully you will be able to avoid getting the
book into a non-working version combination.
