What I've done in the past is fix it so that both links point to the same file, one way or the other. Also, if you have to change the link that points to the xmlsoft site, just comment it out instead of removing it. That way the next guy that comes along can reinstate it if it is fixed. I always like to leave a download link from the maintainer's site available, if possible, as this gives a clue to the savvy builder where the home web site for the package is. BTW, there are entities in general.ent for the gnome download http and ftp links. They replace (http/ftp://) ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/sources with entities. -- Randy rmlinux: [bogomips 3993.32] [GNU ld version 2.16.1] [gcc (GCC) 4.0.2] [GNU C Library stable release version 2.3.6] [Linux 2.6.14.3 i686] 05:42:44 up 17 days, 12:17, 4 users, load average: 0.04, 0.04, 0.00 -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-book FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
