#2187: Unzip still shows instructions for shared library libunzip.so ---------------------------------------------+------------------------------ Reporter: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | Owner: [email protected] Type: defect | Status: new Priority: low | Milestone: 6.2 Component: BOOK | Version: SVN Severity: normal | Keywords: ---------------------------------------------+------------------------------ Quite a while back, DJ had a zip file that would only unzip correctly if unzip was not built to use the shared library. Thus, the shared library build commands were removed. However, there's still cruft in the book about it.
* The check command says to set LD_LIBRARY_PATH, which is clearly unnecessary in the absence of a shared library. * The files section still lists libunzip.so -- Ticket URL: <http://wiki.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/ticket/2187> BLFS Trac <http://wiki.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs> Beyond Linux From Scratch -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-book FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
