#2223: Editors should check for UTF-8 manual pages ----------------------------------------+----------------------------------- Reporter: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | Owner: [email protected] Type: enhancement | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: Component: Edguide | Version: SVN Severity: normal | Keywords: ----------------------------------------+----------------------------------- There is a script listed out on the Locale Related Issues page which can be run to identify any installed UTF-8 encoded manual page. This script should be run by Editors after updating a package (or adding a new one) to ensure UTF-8 manual pages are not installed on the system.
I realize that it will probably come down to running the script on a periodical basis, but something listed in the Editor's Guide would at least show that it is something that should be done. -- Ticket URL: <http://wiki.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/ticket/2223> BLFS Trac <http://wiki.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs> Beyond Linux From Scratch -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-book FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
