I took Alexander's suggestion (sort of). The list of video and input
drivers in the XFree86 example host.def shows what you'll get on x86 Linux
by default. But they're actually commented out with a note that the build
will pick the correct drivers for the platform by default.
This all went in in r6776. Closing.
