#2457: BLFS doesn't document the library search process --------------------------------------------+------------------------------- Reporter: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | Owner: [email protected] Type: task | Status: closed Priority: normal | Milestone: 6.3 Component: BOOK | Version: SVN Severity: normal | Resolution: fixed Keywords: | --------------------------------------------+------------------------------- Changes (by [EMAIL PROTECTED]):
* status: new => closed * resolution: => fixed Comment: I'm not sure that the issue being raised really should have to do with the "boilerplate" message at all. That message simply lets the users know what to do to ensure the library is found at run-time. Mention of how to configure the system to find libraries at build-time is discussion for a page other than individual packages. I'm going to close this ticket, and if it is determined that information on how to make libraries available at build-time is needed for the book, let's open a new ticket with some information on exactly where the information belongs. If I'm wrong about all this, feel free to reopen this ticket. -- Ticket URL: <http://wiki.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/ticket/2457#comment:4> BLFS Trac <http://wiki.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs> Beyond Linux From Scratch -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-book FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
