Huh? I don't remember that. I just looked at all the RC's of the 6.2x
releases and I can not see any issues of URL's pointing incorrectly.

I do remember that Justin had to create dirs/symlinks in the main
sources directory that we mirror but other than that I don't remember
any issues.
