A quick note about XviD 1.2.2. I had to explicitly enable it with
--enable-xvid, and then add -lxvidcore by hand to config.mak. For some
reason mplayer doesn't properly handle this. The flag has to go in
EXTRA_LIB. If nobody else fancies this I might feel daring enough to take
MPlayer on.
