The book says:
This program requires the which-2.20 script or program to find
cURL-7.19.6, Wget-1.11.4 or Lynx-2.8.7rel.1 which are used to download the
most current file, and then replace the existing file in /usr/share.
The 'or program' refers to which. It may be either a script or program.
Either the program or script is used to find cURL, wget, or lynx.
