Dear freshmeat.net subscriber,

glennrp just announced version 1.2.41 of libpng on freshmeat.net.

The changes are as follows:

This is mostly a code cleanup release. It avoids building 16-bit gamma tables
when they aren't needed. Some new warnings (which are off by default, but can be
enabled by defining PNG_PEDANTIC_WARNINGS) were added to aid in migration to
future versions of libpng.

Project description:

libpng (PNG library) is a collection of routines used
to create and manipulate PNG format graphics files.
The PNG format was designed as a replacement for
GIF and, to a lesser extent, TIFF, with many
improvements and extensions.
