In the instructions for installation of the XorgFont package it says to
create symlinks from the font directory to usr/share/fonts if you
installed Xorg in an alternate prefix. Problem is the instructions say to
link from $XORG_PREFIX/lib/X11/..., but the fonts are not there any
longer. They now are installed in $XORG_PREFIX/share/fonts/X11. The
symlink commands need to be updated.
