Tried to build it on LFS 7.2/7.3
CPPFLAGS="-I/usr/include/tirpc" CFLAGS="-I/usr/include/tirpc"
LDFLAGS="-ltirpc" ./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc
--localstatedir=/var --enable-fhs --with-pammodulesdir=/lib/security
--enable-nss-wrapper
It builds, it provides most of the client libraries and server/client
binaries Samba3 does. I haven't tried to build anything against it. ABI
appears to be unchanged - soname wasn't bumped for libsmbclient and
libwbclient which are mostly used client libraries. I haven't tried to
builld anything against such libraries. I'll try it at next system
rebuild.
