Just curious, what benefit would this package give to BLFS users?
From the url above:
"UNetbootin allows you to create bootable Live USB drives for Ubuntu,
Fedora, and other Linux distributions without burning a CD."
You can create a bootable drive for any of the distros listed above by
simply using "dd" or "cat" on the usb drive. I think this package is
mostly meant for Windows, OSX users and Linux newbies who are not that
familiar with the console. The "being familiar with the console" is a
prerequsite for LFS, so I think the package doesn't have a real use here.
Do you have something else in mind with this package than the things I
mentioned above?
Syslinux is nice though, I am using it as a replacement for grub for some
time now.
