Finally!!!
It took some minutes to discover what I failed to, in BLFS-7.4 (perhaps,
it would be nice to add one line, there, in the errata).
It took many hours to check it.
Before, I had tried "--enable-release-build", did not do anything. Now,
{{{
--enable-release-build=yes
}}}
With that, I have a build with no mention to "dev", in any place, Help,
About, splash screen. :-))
