Dear libpng follower,

glennrp just announced version 1.6.10 of libpng on Freecode.

The release notes for this version are as follows:

This is mostly a cleanup release, with a bugfix for a problem with handling
zero-length IDAT chunks, described in CVE-2014-0333, which can cause the
progressive reader to hang (the sequential reader is ok) in versions 1.6.0
through 1.6.9.

Project description:

libpng (PNG library) is a collection of routines used
to create and manipulate PNG format graphics files.
The PNG format was designed as a replacement for
GIF and, to a lesser extent, TIFF, with many
improvements and extensions.
