Forgot to write: the symlink points to external/tarballs, as you know, but
when running again autogen.sh or make, not sure wich one, a new src
symlink is made, now inside the preivious one, so, inside
external/tarballs, and the process is repeated again and again. It is
imperative to modify as in your patch, thanks again
