Currently, tools are installed in /usr/local.
Instructions do not use Makefile in source directory, but needs to start
in the tool subdirectory for each one.
The entire process can be automated, using same solution Bruce introduced
in Xorg.
Problem first noticed by Ronnie van Aarle, in support, thread moved to
dev.
