My initial plan was to keep the 2015 changes separated. After
reading your comments, I thought "ok". But the remaining commands
still need to be separate (i.e. after texmf has been installed), and
on balance I'm not convinced that moving these few lines would be
beneficial.
Thanks for your comment about the rest - I am still hopeful that
[redacted] will be able to test this (redacted because he and I know
who he is, but he might not be able to try it).
