Again, the infrastructure at sourceforge has let us down (the current
version has to be manually updated) - 1.6.34 is indeed there if you scroll
down.
From http://www.libpng.org/pub/png/libpng.html "The current public
release, libpng 1.6.34, fixes some memory-initialization issues identified
by oss-fuzz and an off-by-one error in png_do_check_palette_indexes()."
