I was mistaken about the tests, it is only the last three which failed
(lots of compiles before that, I had missed the PASS output fro mthe main
tests. These three were testing some aspect of font manipulation, using
'ttx' which comes from FontTools. But they failed whether or not that
package was installed.
Upstream has now recoded this (possibly, my scripted 'which' was the
problem, no idea) and when ttx is missing they skip, and pass if it is
present. In either event, make check no longer ends in error.Patch added
to the repo.
