man mdassemble of mdadm-4.0 says "... Invoking mdassemble has the same
effect as invoking mdadm --assemble --scan. ...". In 4.1 that manpage
disappeared, too.
Assuming that mdadm can be used instead. If doing "make everything" also a
mdadm.static is generated which {sh,c}ould be used in initrd.
