System *is* broken. I tried recompiling librsvg because that is the
lightest user of rust.
Similar errors for crates core and std.
The odd thing is that my logs show 1.32.0 completed its installation.
Clearly something in my "use shipped llvm" build is incorrect.
IOn the end, I blew away /usr/lib/rustlib as well as /usr/bin/cargo*
/usr/bin/clippy* /usr/bin/rls /usr/bin/rust* and /usr/share/doc/rustc* :
but I still need to think about what is wrong with the latest build (and
drop ARM).
Meanwhile, I've reinstalled 1.31.1. For future experiments with 1.32.0
I'll go back to installing in /opt (as well as getting it working, I want
to look at the number of codegen units - with thinlto there is a
compromise between rust's build time and space.
