That will tell us whether or not we're looking at a fluke on gab's end or if there's a problem with Athlon/Phenom systems. It'll probably be 24-36 hours, depending on overall speed of my Phenom. That is overtaken by events: upstream rust has now established that LLVM-7.0.1 is NOT good enough (errors on various crates). However, I'm currently swearing and cursing - on my phenom where I had updated to 1.32.0 with system LLVM and things appeared to be ok, I "updated" to 1.32.0 with shipped LLVM. I'm back to rust only finding crates compiled by old versions (in this case 1.25.0 and 1.29.0). That seems to now be a feature of compiling 1.32.0 with system LLVM and then replacing it with a version using the shipped LLVM. On my haswell which previously was running 1.29.2 the upgrade was fine, so this only seems to happen if upgrading from the same version with system LLVM. -- Ticket URL: <http://wiki.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/ticket/11521#comment:31> BLFS Trac <http://wiki.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs> Beyond Linux From Scratch -- http://lists.linuxfromscratch.org/listinfo/blfs-book FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
